National Holstein Women’s Scholarship
2008 Application Rules
* Applicant must be a Junior member (state and national) and have a dairy farm background
* Application, including official transcript of grades, must be postmarked by May 16, 2008. Applications received after May 27th will not be accepted.
* Applicant must be present for personal interview to be held at the Holstein USA Convention in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin on Monday, June 23rd.
* Scholarship winners agree to use the scholarship within 12 months from the date received. Scholarship winner must provide proof of enrollment (fee statement or schedule of classes) before monies are disbursed.
* Applicant must have completed one year at a college, university, or tech school, and majoring in a ag-related course of study. ( Ag-related field of study has been waived for students with a strong Holstein background.)
* Previous winners are not eligible to re apply.
