Holstein Women’s Scholarship
2010 Application Rules
* Applicant must be a Junior member (state and national) and have a dairy farm background
* Application, including official transcript of grades, must be postmarked by May 15, 2010. Applications received after May 26th will not be accepted.
* Applicant must be present for personal interview to be held at the Holstein USA Convention in Bloomington, MN on Saturday, June 26th.
* Scholarship winners agree to use the scholarship within 12 months from the date received. Scholarship winner must provide
proof of enrollment (fee statement or schedule of classes) before monies are disbursed.
* Applicant must have completed one year at a college, university, or tech school, and majoring in a ag-related course of study.
(Ag-related field of study has been waived for students with a strong Holstein background.)
*The scholarship award will be made payable to the student's college, university or tech school, with instructions to credit
the student's account for the amount of the award.
* Previous winners are not eligible to re apply.
